Well, it seems that gossip is infallible after all.  The New York Post’s answer to TMZ.com - PageSix.com - has been closed down.  The official reason is “the economy” and “low traffic” but sources also say that competition with the paper’s Page Six site and infighting among staff members takes the blame.
