Michelle Williams: ‘My Heart is Broken’
In her first public statement since the death of ex-fiance Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams has released a statement simply saying, “Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes two steps at a time and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him.”
As per Michelle’s wishes, from now on, I’m only going to post FACTS that come out regarding Heath’s death. No rumors, no drug videos, just information that respectfully relates to the facts.

I miss him…it’s a weird feeling because I obviously didn’t know him, never met him…yet, some deaths in the world just strike you differently than others, for no clear reason. On that topic: I love you more than EVER for being so upstanding in sticking to your gut & really considering your responsibilities as a young journalist. The decisions you make now re: what you will and will not write about will guide how you grow in your career - you rock m’lady!
