Mario Lopez Wants ‘A Chorus Line’ Restaged Just for His Own Ego

Much thanks to Wendy from one of our sister-blogs, Snarky Gossip, for bringing this story to our attention! Mario Lopez, currently enjoying the end of his second 15-minutes of fame, is currently rockin’ out as a cast member in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. According to Page Six, a younger, hotter, better dancer named Nick Adams has Mario feeling so threatened that he was diva enough to “actually ask the director to make Nick less prominent and [himself] more so.” The show was consequently reworked to give Adams less center stage.
So…he actually got A CHORUS LINE to be reblocked simply because he didn’t like that someone else is better looking and a better dancer than he is?! Like, they took Fosse’s work and redid some of it? The Broadway community is allegedly pissed and well, who can blame them? No one makes a muscle like A.C. Slater does! Why can’t he be happy that he still has that?!
