Katie Holmes Coming to Broadway?
Since it’s been somewhat of a Broadway themed week here at StarkedNY, here’s one final piece of news: Katie Holmes is said to be “in final negotiations” to make her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller’s post-World War II family drama, All My Sons. Mrs. Tom Cruise would play a woman who visits the family of her former lover, a missing pilot. A rep for Holmes confirms that she is in discussions but claims that “nothing is set.” John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest have already been cast.
Hmmm. I read this play a few years ago and it IS really depressing, but if she can pull it off, it’ll give her some credibility that she’s lacking now.
