Ashlee Simpson is Not Allowed Back on SNL
The Saturday Night Live producers can’t be intimidated by Joe Simpson. Jessica & Ashlee’s dad/manager wanted Ashlee to go back on SNL to promote her new album “Bittersweet World,” but was denied because Ashlee was “a pain” during her last visit there. h yeah, and there was also that little lip-synching disaster last time too. The official word from the Simpson camp is that “[SNL is] dark the week we are here in April and there were no other opportunities later in the year.”
Gotta love Lorne Michaels for sticking to his principles.
