America’s Next Top Models Accused of Damaging TriBeCa Loft
Are they acting like divas already? A financial bitch slap is a-brewin’. The cast and crew from this season’s “America’s Next Top Model” are being accused of trashing the $6 million TriBeCa loft where they lived for 10 weeks. The crew allegedly “punched hundreds of holes in the ceiling to hang lighting equipment” and ruined the Brazilian wood floors. According to an insider:
“These girls not only destroyed the floors, it appears they had food fights. There’s ketchup and coffee splattered all over the landlord’s $20,000 white drapes. There’s lipstick on the walls. They moved in furniture and made holes all along the walls. A plumber had to come fix the toilet and the water caused $90,000 worth of damage to the electrical store on the first floor”
The models are also being accused of damaging a $15,000 chandelier beyond repair and of splashing so much water around that the bathroom was ruined and had to be tested for mold. The production team is accused of skipping out on a $1,500 electric bill. Though producers offered to settle for $125,000, owner Michael Marvisi has not seen any of the money and plans to file a lawsuit against “America’s Next Top Model.”
